Instagram 除了增加 Photo Filter 外，亦不断有新功能加入，最新就可以将 Live Video 透过 Direct 传送给朋友。
只要点按 Direct Icon 按钮，就可以将自己的 Live Video 又或将正在观看的 Live Video 传送给一位或多位朋友，让他们一同参与。
With a single tap of the Direct icon, you can send your own live video — or a live video you’re watching — to a friend or a group of friends to encourage them to join in the fun.
对方收到 Direct 就可以观看 Live Video，但若对方开启时 Live 已经结束，就会看到 “直播已完结” 的讯息。另外，若果帐户设定是 Private 的话，只有 Followers 才可观看 Live Video。
