Samsung Galaxy S9 和 S9+ 公布后，DxOMark 亦为新机进行相机部份评测。
经过评测后，Galaxy S9+ 在相片拍摄取得 104分，而影片拍摄就有 91分，合计取得总分 99分，成为最高分的智能电话相机。99分是史上最高分，胜过 Google Pixel 2 的 98分，以及 Apple iPhone X 的 97分。
DxOMark 测试了一系列不同的拍摄状况，包括强光, 低光, Zoom 等，并会就不同范畴包括曝光, 对比, 色彩, 自动对焦, 噪声, 闪灯等进行评分。DxOMark 指 S9 Plua 的相机没有明显的弱点，并且在相片和影片拍摄的各项测试中都表现优异。

In both still and video modes, it performs well across the board, delivering consistently good photo and video image quality in all light and shooting situations, thus earning itself our highest DxOMark Mobile score to date.
那又不是完全没缺点。Galaxy S9 在拍摄相片时会偶然会出现曝光不稳定，并会有色差和欠缺锐利的情况。而影片拍时在大部份情况下，都会出现细致度不足的情况。
