Google 推出了新的 Google Earth Timelapse 功能，可以回望由 1984 起地球表面的变化。

Google Earth Timelapse 整理超过 1500万张䘙星图像，并以时间方式排列，用家可以按年检视地形上的变化。透过 Google Earth Timelapse 可以看到地球不同地点的变化，例如巴西亚马逊雨林, 澳洲北领地等。当然也可以看看香港的变化，例如香港赤鱲角机场，未起机场前赤鱲角是一个离岛，移山填海后就建成机场岛。下面就 capture 了 1984年, 1998年, 以至 2018 年的情况。
香港另一个变化很多的地区就是将军澳，填了很多地呢。
Google Earth Timelapse亦设有 Autoplay 播放功能，可以连贯看到 1984年至到 2018年的变化。Google Earth Timelapse 可以在桌面电脑以至电话上直接使用，只要按下面的连结在浏览器开启就可以。
