最近都盛传 LG 将会推出一部双屏幕呈 T 字的新电话，一般都称这部机为 Wing。LG 最新就公布将会在 9月14日举行 Live Stream 直播公布这部奇特的新机。
在 Invitation 宣传片中亦以图像显示了这个独特的 T字双屏幕设计，双屏幕转动变成 T字般。LG 在新闻稿中透露，今次是全新的 Explorer Project 中首部推出的智能电话。Explorer Project 是一个创新的范畴，用于开发具可用性并有独特体验的设备，借此探索行业中未知的领域。现在智能电话用家都有不同多元化的使用需要，Explorer Project 可为智能电话带来新动力，扩展现有用家的使用体验。
LG created the Explorer Project in response to the diverse usage needs of today’s smartphone customers and to deliver much-needed curiosity and excitement to the mobile sector. The initiative aims to “explore” and inject new life into untapped areas and reshape and expand the current user experience, with assistance from its trusted platform partners.
另外，新闻稿亦特别提到 LG 跟 Rave, Ficto, Tubi 和 NAVER 合作，为 Explorer Project 装置开发独有功能，配合装置的独特检视体验。
