Google Assistant 推出了五项新功能，不是大改动全在日常生活都可以帮到手。
第一项是 Find my phone 功能改进，过往一直都可透过其他 Smart Speaker/Display “Hey Google, find my phone” 寻找电话，电话就会发出声响。现在这项功能扩展至 iPhone，只要在 iPhone 内 Google Home App 选择接收 notifications 和 critical alerts，当使用 find my phone 时，iPhone 就会发出声响，就算是静音或请勿騒扰模式也可以。
第二项是美国限定功能。Google Assistant 可以配合 Duplex on the web 功能，当在网上餐厅落单时，Google Assistant 可自动在网站内填写资料, 转动网页以至输入付款资料。这项功能现时只限于美国指定连锁餐厅推出。
第三项是新增 日出/日落 Routine。 Google Assistant Routine 功能新增了日出/日落选项，例如当日落时就自动开启房间电灯。只需要在 New Routine “Add starter” 拣选 Sunrise/sunset 就可以。
第四项改动 Routine 内会设有 Suggested Actions 方便用家设定。
最后是关于奥斯卡颁奖礼，可以利用 Google Assistant 查问各项奥斯卡消息资料，例如奖项的提名名单，甚至八挂消息例如估计谁会得奖，又或者谁是最佳衣着。
