Google 上年因武汉肺炎疫情影响，取消了一年一度的 Google I/O 大会。今年 Google 就决定改以网上形式举行，日子就定于 5月18-20日举行。

过往 Google I/O 若想亲身参与，都需透过登记抽签付费参与，今年就以 Online 形式，所以就开放予所有人免费参加。至于大会内容，Consumer and Developer Keynotes 当然大众的焦点，预计会有 Android 12 消息，亦会有新硬件公布，估计应该会有 Pixel 5a 以及平价的无线蓝牙耳机 Pixel Buds A。
至于大会的详尽时间搙，Keynote 以至不同的 Workshop, Technical Sessions, Ask Me Anything (AMA) 举行时间就尚未公布，Google 表示会在四月尾公布详情。
