Google 今年推出的 Pixel 6 和 6 Pro 不会有叉电插头跟机，而 Google 就另外独立销售 30W 的快速叉电插头。这让不少人以为 Pixel 6 和 Pixel 6 Pro 会以 30W 叉电，但亦有一些研究指出 Pixel 6 并不是 30W 叉电的。到底 Pixel 6 和 Pixel 6 Pro 是以什么速度叉电呢，Google 最近就在 Pixel Phone Community 内贴文解释了电话的叉电运作方式。

在贴文中，Google 清楚指出 Pixel 6 和 Pixel 6 Pro 最高叉电分别是 21W 和 23W。Google 表示他们设计 Pixel 装置会在电池容量, 寿命, 以及叉电速度取得平衡，而叉电的速度会受不同因素影响包括电池本身, 温度, 系统使用状态, 以致叉电状况等。
当 Pixel 6 装置电量低时，系统会以较高速度叉电，装置会在 30分钟内叉电至 50%，跟住就会在 1小时内达致 80% 视乎装置使用状况和温度，最高峰时 Pixel 6 和 Pixel 6 Pro 会以 21W 和 23W 叉电。当电池越接近叉满时，叉电功率会逐渐减低以保障电池的寿命。另外，Pixel 装置亦可能会在达致 80% 时，于一些特定状况下暂停叉电，若启用了 Adaptive Charging，Pixel 装置在半夜叉电时亦会自行调节叉电速度。
