Google Play Store 内有海量的 Apps 选择，但当中也有不少是旧Apps，可能有数年没有 Update 更新。Play Store 今年11月起会进一步限制这些未有更新的旧App下载和安装。
Google 公布由今年11月1日起，Apps 若果 Target API Level 不是最新两年内推出的 Android 版本，而新用家的装置版本若高于 Apps 的 Target API Level，就不会在 Play Store 找到这些未有更新的旧Apps 安装。
starting on November 1, 2022, existing apps that don’t target an API level within two years of the latest major Android release version will not be available for discovery or installation for new users with devices running Android OS versions higher than apps’ target API level. As new Android OS versions launch in the future, the requirement window will adjust accordingly.
简单举个例子，例如到了 11月1日，若果有一个旧 App 它的 Target API Level 只是去到 Android 9 版本，若你之前未使用过这个 Apps 而电话的版本是较新的 Android 12，那就不会在 Play Store 上找到这个 App。但若果你的装置是运行 Android 8 或 Android 9 的话，还是可以在 Play Store 上找到这个 App的。
Google 这个造法就是要开发人员更加积极去更新 Apps，另一方面这做法亦保障了用家，减少用家使用一些未有更新的旧Apps 而带来一些安全隐患。
