Google 公布了八月份的 Google Play 系统更新的资料，内里有十多项改进，涉及不同范畴。
Google Play System 的更新并不涉及操作系统架构，只透过修改部份基础架构，让装置可以获功能上的改进和修正。今次八月份更新中最值得留意是 AutoFill 会有新的操作界面，不过界面会是什么模样还未清楚。而 Google Play Store 部份亦有多项改进，包括改进 Play-as-you-download, 改进更稳定和快速的下载和安装, 还有 Play Pass和Play Points 有新功能，另外还有其他的修正和改进等等。
