CyanogenMod 团队在 Google+ 发文，讲解早期装置的命运。他们表示 Nexus One 和其他第一代 Snapdragon 装置包括 HTC Desire, LG Optimus One, SE Xperia X10, Samsung Galaxy Ace 等，不会获得 CM7.x 之后的支援。即是话，这些旧机不会有 CM9, CM10。
The Nexus One, along with the other first generation Snapdragon devices (devices with the QSD8x50, MSM7x25, MSM7x27 and MSM7x27T SoCs), will not be supported beyond the CM 7.x (Gingerbread) branch.
CyanogenMod 团队指出，不能为这些装置提供升级主要有两个原因。第一是内存空间的限制，第二是缺乏对应 ICS 的媒体程式库。
他们亦补充说，这些装置是可以运行 ICS 或 Jelly Bean，但需要花大量时间和资源，但得出来的运行效果郤不太值得。
