Sony 早前为 Xperia 装置推出了 Android 6.0 Marshmallow 更新，但就移除了 Sony 自家功能 STAMINA Mode。由于 Android 6.0 内置有 Doze Mode，而 Sony 的 STAMINA Mode 提供相类似的功能操作，但两者会相互影响，所以 Sony 就要将 STAMINA Mode 抽起。
不过将来还会看到 STAMINA Mode 加入至 Android 6.0 Marshmallow 之内。Sony 明确表示会为运行 Android 6.0 的 Xperia 装置重新加入 STAMINA Mode，并表示会在不久将来会在 Xperia Beta Program 率先推出，至于确实的推出时间表则仍未有。
Great news. One of the most requested features is coming back to your Xperia running Marshmallow: Stamina mode.
We don’t have a release schedule yet, but the feature will be definitely available for members of the Xperia Beta Program in the near future.
