早两天才说 Chainfire 正在研究 Pixel 电话 Root 机，不消一会 Chainfire 已成功将 Pixel Root 了并正式放出 Root 机的 Zip 档案。
虽说 Chainfire 用了很短时间就 Root 了，但 Pixel 跟过往其他 Android 机，因为它有 两个 System, Boot, Vendor 部份，但没有 Recovery, Cache Partition，所以要成功 Root 也需要不少功夫。
原先 Pixel Kernel 是用 System partition 内的档案作为 Root Directory，而 Chainfire Root 机的方法是将 Kernel 改为使用 Boot Image 内的档案作为 Root Directory，这个做法就不会涉及 System partition，也就是 systemless root。
Chainfire 提供了两个 Zip 分别用于 Pixel 和 Pixel XL。Zip 档案不是用来 Flash 的，解压后内里就会有 boot image 和一个 Readme.txt，简单讲就是用 fastboot boot (img_file)，Readme.txt亦提供了详细步骤亦有 Unlock bootloader 的方法。
