WhatsApp 在官方 FAQ Page 公布，将会在明年 2月1日起不再支援 Android 2.3.7 或更旧版本。
即是 Android Gingerbread 不再支援，电话最起码也要运行 Android 4.0 ICS。若果对应机种来说，大约就是 Nexus One, Galaxy S 那个年代的电话，它们最后只停留在 2.3 Gingerbread 未能升级至 Android 4.0 ICS。
For the following operating systems, you can no longer create new accounts, nor reverify existing accounts. However, you’ll be able to continue using WhatsApp on:
– Android versions 2.3.7 and older until February 1, 2020
– iOS 8 and older until February 1, 2020
