Google 透露会在 2022年将 Google Play Games 的游戏引进至 Windows 平台上。
在刚举行的 The Game Awards 2021 上，Google Play Games Product Director 在 Mobile Gaming Section 上表示玩家在 2022年可以在 Windows PCs 上玩 Android 游戏。
他表示 Google 正在开发一个在 Windows 运作的应用程式，玩家只需要在 Windows 电脑下载安装这个应用程式，并登入 Google 帐户，就可以玩 Android 游戏。而原先在其他平台如电话, Tablet, Chromebook 的游戏进度，也可以同步至这个应用程式，玩家可以在不同平台随时切换继续游戏。
Google 指这个新的应用程式会将最好的 Android 和 Google Play Games 生态系统引进至 Windows 电脑，但就未交代是否所有游戏也可引进至 Windows 电脑上。而这次将 Google Play Games 引进至 Windows 平台，全是由 Google 自行开发，Microsoft 方面未有参与。
